We went with my friend Joann and her two girls to Holbrook Canyon. It is right across the street from the Bountiful Temple. Right at the beginning of the hike is a fun little stream that the kids enjoyed playing in. We didn't do much hiking beyond that.
Lincoln especially loved playing the the water. Some other kids probably built a little dam so the water was backed up and created a pretty big pool area. It was fairly deep too. Lincoln first step caught him by surprise and he was almost completely submerged!
Tanner was more conservative and just observed while the rest of the kids played in the water. I loved the little baby doll Joann's daughter brought. She even let her go swimming too.
Lincoln was completely soaked and he was pretty dirty by the time we were done. Thus, he was stripped before getting in the car on the way home!
It was a fun little area to play in. I look forward to taking them back!
